There is no posting requirements at Clubhost. By active forum
membership, we mean that you must signup for a forum account
prior to being able to signup for hosting. The hosting signup
system uses information from the forum membership database.

You can signup for forum membership and then turn around
and signup for hosting two seconds later.

Does posting cost money? I think it doesn', which does make it free. "real" free.
