I have a sugestion ms11.net has a hosting plan that does not include domain hosting , however, they only charge an $11 one time fee so that might be a good option. They do have domain hosting but that is at a much greater price. Just one note: They have "unmonitored bandwidth" so you would have to ask them what they deem to be an appropriate range of monthly datatransfer. And no they don't have adds.

I wouldn't go with discount-hosting.com over ms11 (or most other hosts) because they have reoccuring fees and no support.
I use a more expensive host but there are many times when support can be a life saver and can do things that you can't like fix some thing in the server configuration. Should something be awry that is. At least choose a host with minimal support.
