just got an e-mail about an hour ago that totally made a bad day worse.
apparently my host is goign out of business.
so of course, i am again in the market for a new host.
here's what i need.
ensim control panel is preferred, particularly as a reseller panel.
10 gigs throughput at minimum
500 megs space
unlimited e-mails/subdomains
fairly unlimited domains.
unlimited ftp
webmail interphase
php
mysql (decent quantity of db's please)
pop3/smtp
phpmyadmin
need to be able to set different admins to different domains, as well as have different domains point to the same place.
need also to be acceptable to TOS to sell out service to others (domains or subdomains) and preferablty allow to add advertising to some subaccounts.
needs to be able to handle com, net, org, and us extensions.
thats about all i can really think of at the moment.
needs to be fair priced, but please, nothing fly by night.
want a nice, reliable host, thats not gonna flake out on me in a few months.
also, if host is also registrar, thats of course preferred.
-edit-
after looking at demo's, i should probably be more flexible on control panels, c-panel looks do-able, but still prefer ensim.
