If you had to buy a laptop in the 10-12" screen range.
Would you go for the new atom netbooks or older stuff.
I'm currently debating between a Lenovo Ideapad S10 or an IBM Thinkpad X40 (1.4 Pentium M from 2004)
Both will end up at about the same price.
The planned usage is mostly just connecting remotely to my workplace if I get a call and am not at home. Remote desktop on my phone's 2.8" screen is no fun heh
But I might also do some webdev. Absolutely no gaming involved.
I tried finding some comparision charts between those 2 cpus with no luck.
Anyone got any suggestions?
