to activate mysql do following:
log in into the web account, and request it (it will take 1-2 days, but hey, it WORKS! and its fast)

ftp login:

u need to login with a proxy:

Host Name: ftpproxy.tsn.at
UserID: ftpuser
Password: ftp
Type: Site hostname
Port: 21

It seems a good host. I try to login via ftp, but I can't reach my directory.

Host Name: ftpproxy.tsn.at
UserID: ftpuser
Password: ftp
Type: Site hostname

After I login to ftpproxy.tsn.at with ftpuser as userID and ftp as password, I get into a blank directory. Please help. For your info, I am using a public networked computer that block ftp port. So, I am using web-based ftp (http://www.web2ftp.com) that doesn't allow me to enter the "Type". Is there any solution for me?
 
I think the server is in German.

Is it reliable? I have not tried it yet. Still have problem with uploading files.

try the translator in altavista.com
it doesn't allow u to translate using URL bcos it's a https.
so, copy and paste the text and translate them. it works for me. ;)

i have just signed up. now, just need to find where to activate it. i hope they send me to links. hahaha. :classic2:
 
ok, i signed up... haven't tested the ftp cos i'm at work... haven't got a ftp program bside, i'm not allowed to transfer file using direct ftp...

anyway, i'll test it tonight when i get home.
for the vitualhost (under the services), can someone tell me what is that Domainname field is for... :confused: :rolleyes:

Leanne, I think virtual host is kinda a sub-domain... so it is actually a sub-sub-domain as ours are already a sub domain.
 
Leanne, I still can't get access to ftp. Actually I still don't understand what the

Type: Site Hostname is.

Maybe Weapon and DjG would like to explain a little bit more? What I got in my FTP WS LE interface is
HostName: ftpproxy.tsn.at
Host_Type: (Scrolldown list and there is no Site Hostname in it)
UserID: ftpuser
password: ftp
Account: What should I fill in here?

Any feedback will be appreciated. Thanks.
