That is sweet, dude. Yes, a void ballot counts. It shows that someone isn't too lazy to get to the polls, but they still didn't feel strongly enough for any party to actually cast a vote for them. It does send a message.
But do your opinions get voiced by placing a valid vote? While voting for someone represents that you support him, it doesn't necessarily mean that you agree with him or his party. In fact, some people probably casted votes for someone who they thought was the least worse. They're just picking the best of the rotten apples. But that's not what statistics show. Stats convey a message that goes "all these people are on my side".
If you think about it that way, then voting is just plain stupid. It doesn't voice what the majority of people really want.
Anyhow, what I meant to say was, you can't say that void ballots aren't the way to go. If you get a large percentage of null votes in an election, then that's saying something. A lot of people aren't satisfied with something or some things, causing them to void their ballot.

In some countries you don't have a choice whether you'll vote or not, it's not a right, it's an obligation!! :devious2:
In a world where all politicians are as dense as each other is there really a need to vote?? When they all have the same stupid ideas how can you vote for 1 over the other, do you vote for 'Dumb' or 'Dumber'?!?! :confused4
