Wins with over half of all votes. The win was not fueled by race, because the top 3 candidates all got a close chunk of the white vote. It was the Clintons who tried to make it about race. Suck it Hilldog.

You might say it's the Clintons who try to make it about race, but you really think that the majority of remaining American votes aren't going to hear that and believe it?

The primaries voters are more informed than regular voters, in most cases they've already made up their minds on who they're going to vote for before the primaries start. The first 4 primary states have been across the US, all with different demographics, which is on purpose so they can gauge what might happen on Super Tuesday. Obama has won 2 (3 if the recount in NH is fair), and Hillary has won 1 (Michigan doesn't count, and she was a real ---- to leave her name on the ballot, while the others removed theirs' like they were supposed to. And she barely beat NOBODY. You could either vote for "uncommitted" or Hillary, and she won by only 5%. When Bush ran unopposed in some states, he got 90%)

In the end, race obviously plays some issue, but not as much as you want to think. The Clintons seriously make it about race, everything they do is planned, even Clinton's little cry fest.

Ron Paul is Republican - this was the Democratic primaries.

I'm glad that Obama is leading. If I had to pick one democrat, it would be Obama.

I did early voting already. I fear that it will be between Rudy and Hillary in FL. I hope it's not Hillary and I hope it isn't Rudy.

I don't want to get into a whole thing, but here are some of my reasons:

- Doesn't take lobbyist money.
- Most honest of the candidates
- Progressive, wants real change in the white house and washington
- Charismatic, great public speaker
- Did charity work for years
- Fresh face, other countries would potentially look at the US completely differently
- Politics isn't a game for him
- His healthcare plan isn't sponsored by healthcare companies (looking at you hilldog), and helps prevent feeloaders.

Pre-election bullsh1t if you ask me, they all promise you the world & when they win then don't give a sh1t :classic2:.

those are all great points, and i think a lot of people would say the same for other candidates. my biggest beef is the anti gun stand he has. that right there would keep me from voting for anyone.

The exit polls show a couple of fascinating data points: Obama won 52 percent of the non-black vote under 30. Among the over-60s, he won a mere 15 percent of the non-black vote. The legacy is racism is clearly dying. Then this: Obama won every demographic among the religiously observant. And the more devout they are - judging by their church attendance - the better he did. His narrowest margins against Clinton and Edwards were among those who never attend church services.

And xkcd has just endorsed Obama.
