My pc is doing weird..

It starts like hummming after awhile. I dunno why.

Does anyone know what could cause it.

Not that loud but you hear it.

I would hope you hear it.

If you don't hear it, then you need to start worrying.

I don't hear mine and it is still running. Upon bootup it tells me the current speed (realtime) and its always above 5600rpm

well, i hear it if i listen closely to it. But that other sound was way too loud it wasnt the normal sound how i got it. I think its Dust. I got it from HP.com they said if you got carpet floor u gotta watch out with all the dust. So i gotta get something to bring it off the ground.

Just get a can of compressed-gas.

Speaking about fans, I should get a new one...my current one kinda sucks.

Speaking of fans... that'll be the one minus if I ever do upgrade. On my current machine I have no fans... I have just a bare heatsink on my cpu and no case fans... the only "fan" is the one in my PSU which isn't even audible since it's < 20dB...

I'll send you my HSF when I get a new one. ;)

Mine is quite loud though, around 40dB.

I got 3 fans in my case, intake, exhaust and the PSU one.

Only the PSU does what it's supposed to. My other 2 fans don't even cool.

I can't hear or feel my heat fan at all...

My previous computer's fan can be heard at some times.

Well you have an Intel, it don't matter if you have a fan or not.

Although mine is bloody loud. I need to do watercooling one of these days. I'm the only one at [H]ard Forums that doesn't overclock.

well i can hear da normal computer sound...but if u do hear a scrapping noise or something like that..then it's ya HDD...cause it happened to me once....funny thing is.....that HDD of mine is working fine.....so still don't wat was wrong with da HDD

No... not the only one... my cpu is actually underclocked a bit...

Also about H2O, you'll still have to have a few fans bringing in cool air...

Ok, I'm one of the few. :p

Yes I knew I still need fans, but not as loud as these ones. I can hear my computer across the freaking hallway and down the stairs.
