I don't hear mine and it is still running. Upon bootup it tells me the current speed (realtime) and its always above 5600rpmOriginally posted by Bruce
I would hope you hear it.
If you don't hear it, then you need to start worrying.
Speaking of fans... that'll be the one minus if I ever do upgrade. On my current machine I have no fans... I have just a bare heatsink on my cpu and no case fans... the only "fan" is the one in my PSU which isn't even audible since it's < 20dB...Originally posted by Daniel
Speaking about fans, I should get a new one...my current one kinda sucks.

No... not the only one... my cpu is actually underclocked a bit...Originally posted by Daniel
I'm the only one at [H]ard Forums that doesn't overclock.

Also about H2O, you'll still have to have a few fans bringing in cool air...
are you deaf now? j/kOriginally posted by Daniel
Ok, I'm one of the few.
Yes I knew I still need fans, but not as loud as these ones. I can hear my computer across the freaking hallway and down the stairs.
