pheonice.com rippoff ???

Hi All,
I tried to order webhosting at:
http://www.pheonice.com/services/index.html
but all I got as a reply email was:

Your monthly payment of $4.99 for your webhosting account
with us has been declined and your credit card rejected.
Please make sure there is a sufficient amount of funds on your credit card
to complete the transaction, or send confromation that you have terminated your
account with us and no longer wish to be billed. E-mail us at billing@2039in.com

Ammount Payed: $0.00

I tried it 3 times and it did not work, although my creditcard is
okay.
Also their billing help domain http://support.2039in.com/
does not work and the PERL charging script did not give any
answer after the creditcard submitting !

I hope it is not a scam to get my creditcard data...
Has anybody over here any experience with thsi webhoster ?

I also tried to call the phone number from the whois database,
but there was just some other people saying the phone number
was wrong and gave me another number.
Under this other number was only an anonymous answering machine... strange...

Please let me know your comments !

Since the number is wrong and your credit card payment was not accepted by them, you may just hold on to it a couple of day and see whether is there any reply from the support desk.

If not, guess that you will have to look for another host.

Just wonder why are they having two different domain name.

Nothing is too late, there are many hosting provider setup account in hour or less. So, do we.

Seriously though, what your asking for is obviously impossible.

Even the price is quoted in pound sterling, it is hard to survive in the long run.

For a new company, it is making a loss as a promotion and new launch to the market.

But for a existing company, over a period of 6 months, there is no way they could survive any longer.

This domain name is however over a period of 6 months time.

2039in.com site is not working as well.

Do you still rely on such hosting for long term? Before you actually signup, you are already so much problem.

If your paying sub $20 a year for your hosting, that's cheap.

If your paying sub $40 a year, that's reasonable.

Their plans don't seem all that illogical to me guys I mean look at it:

2000mb space
30GB bandwidth for $30 per month

Your still paying 1 buck per gig and even on the small plans your paying at leat 50 cents to the gig.

That's their ownly logical plan.

The other plans are actually logical too, my host gives me 600mb space and 20GB bandwidth per month for only $84 per year and I'm doing fine, it depends solely on the company and it looks like this one is a scam.
