[Request] PHP 5 subdomain hosting for paFileDB Extreme Edition

Hey,

i`ve been around on this site now for just one day and i saw some php 5 hosting request topics but not much offers get in there..

Here is a small list of what i need:
- PHP 5.x.x with GD
- MySQL (4 or 5 with atleast 1 database)
- 100MB Space will do fine
- for now 1 GB traffic is fine although i think it can get to the 10GB after a few months.
- no filesize limit for uploading (if it`s there i must be able to upload 5mb in one file)
- subdomain
- i prefer a server in europe

And here is where i need it for:


i`m making a giant mod for the populair file database script: paFileDB and i don`t have hosting for it.. you can find more information about that mod here in this topic: paFileDB Extreme Edition needs people that can help with ajax/javascript

The things that i need to be able to host on the free host are the releases, the script itself (where the releases will be in) and a xml file that contains the latest security noticed for paFileDB Extreme Edition. this file will be accessed by all people that use paFileDB Extreme Edition and give them a security notice when they might be in danger for of a exploit and the notice will provide details on how to fix the security hole.

paFileDB Extreme Edition is a script made by me (a paFileDB user) for the paFileDB users. i do it all for free and i even give support for free.. so i hope i can get a hosting account for free aswell.

it`s perfectly fine by me if i need to place a banner on the free hosting of the company that hosts it but i refuse to put on anoying flashing banners.. i rather have a small banner or a google adsence banner. i would also like it if i`m able to place my own banner on it. (not that i have any at this moment)

with those versions the location doesn`t mather anymore :)
 
Ahhh yeh, I thought that seemed familiar.....starcraftsector.com has a paFileDB section. I know exactly what it is :)

For the other hosts, it's a small script for downloading things, like download.com, but designed for websites. You get files, descriptions, a screenshot and a link to dl it. It acts like a directory.

Anyway, mark, what would you be able to post in return? For 100mbs, you'd only need 5-6 posts a month.

i rather don`t have a obligation of posting serveral posts a month.. i post on a forum when i like that forum and yours doesn`t realy fit in that description (yet).. perhaps when your forum gets some more populairity..

so i`m afraid i can`t pay you in posts.. but i think i can help you with pafiledb and perhaps even install the Extreme Edition on your server as a gread example page that is running Extreme Edition.

and almost all links have that error

Another way how i could pay is strange enough in posts.. IF you would like to add a paFileDB Extreme Edition section in the forums.. than i will surely have 5 posts a month :p possible 50 ;) and i need a forum to post the progress/newest patches anyway.

or you could sponser me :D... i will (if needed) place a banner of liway on my account but please let it be a simple banner (google AdSence?)

i persnally would go for a combination.. so you add a forum section for paFileDB Extreme Edition and i don`t!! have the forced obligation topost 5 posts a month and you sponser me with whatever i need for Extreme Edition.. and that won`t be that much :) the most traffic will be caused by the releases and the xml security file that every single pafileDB Extreme Edition that is in use will contact to gather the latest security info.

so.. what would you choose?

why you dont use Ahplace

i hate it to be forced to do things i don`t want to do..
both http://www.ahplace.com and http://free.liway.com/ require you to post on there forum and i think it`s not good for the forum community themselve if they are only posting there because they MUST post in order to keep there account.

i do like those 2 hosts for the packages they offer and 5 or 10 posts a month isn`t much.. but i rather have a small google adsence banner on my site than being forced to post to get and keep my account.

Man, that's like saying it's not good for the world to have jobs, because people only work because they MUST get the money in order to feed, cloth, shelter and entertain themselves. People like posting on forums, it's a mutual benefit, because they get to discuss interesting things and learn many things.

In any way, I'm glad you found hosting :beer:

anyway (to promote your service a bit) you seem to offer fine hosting and for a very low post rate :) and the latest versions!!! your offer would be my second choice
