Server to server transer gets me mad ...

well, the script I want to realize should do the following:

get a specified file per http request and save it onto the remote server machine (e.g. a paid host or whatever) so I wouldn´t have to download that file and upload it again. I´ve tried using functions like fopen, fputs and so on but I´m not sure how the handle it the right way. Does anyone have such a script ready or can help me coding it? It shouldn´t be more than a few lines....
