I have two computers on a network which shares a 56k connection, is there any way i can limit the speed of the other computer?

It depends, if you are using a router most likely. But then again i never heard of a 56k router. If you are using 2 network cards on one computer, using the 1 computer as like a main computer, then probably not. I know what you could do. You could talk to your 56k connection provider, and ask if they can limit the speed. But then again... They dont have much control over your network. I say you check in your operating system. If there is a way, its most likely in your network settings.
