Yes, some do...

However, in the host FAQ, there aren't a lot of details beside the host name and the category which it is into. It may be sufficient for some people who search for some particular features, but for many others, who look for most aspects of a service before making a choice, they need more details.

I think you just go to Freewebspace and you will find list of working and reliable website

Again, they are some aspects of free webhosting services that aren't there ( bandwith allotment for exemple ) and the websites listed there aren't all necessary reliable.
