hehehehe i just wanted to ask how can can you ask for more space then unlimited? :rolleyes:
 
I think what ACherki is saying is that holm.ru initially has a set quota on disk space, but you can e-mail the admin and request more space as needed.

Terms of hosting (translation)

I.What do you have to do?

1. Register
2. Update you site (site must be supported). Non updated sites will be erased.
3. Place our banners on your site according to the formula therein under.

II. Restrictions.

We do not host sites and materials which violate the laws and regulations of the Russian Federation, for instance, porn, apeals to violence and national discord às well as the pages, containing and distributing warez, audio-video production, text materials and home pages. The administration retains the right to deny you hosting services, if your site is of no interest to us.

We offer 2 variants of hosting:

1. You create your site in the design you like and upload it with FTP-client, if your site requires less than 70 Ìb, you have to place one banner ÊÌ.ru 468õ60 on the title page, if your site needs more than 70 Ìb, you will have to place banner ÊÌ.ru on all the pages of your site. Banner should be seen without scrolling the screen in 800õ600 pixels resolution of the monitor.

2. You create a site in the design of ÊÌ.ru using our online creation wizard, which allows you to fill in the ready structure of a site with the materials.

WARNING: in any case, using any variant of hosting, the administration of ÊÌ retains the right to use pop-ups on your site for the additional advertising of our projects.

I just signup to http://register.h1.ru/index_en.shtml then I received their long email which I don't understand.

As I get ftp server address (which is easily recognized), I tried to connect to the ftp server and upload a info.php file to see the php version they are using. But, I can't load this file in browser. Should I activate something first before I can use my account on holm.ru?

We have a shell to configure your site and scripts. You can access it thru ssh protocol, attention you ssh client should support 2nd version. Host, login and password will be the same as for FTP.

If you forgot your password for FTP - you can change it: go to:

PHP supported *.php, *.php3, *.php4. We have PHP 4.

I had no problems with that... are you sure you dunno logging well?
