spyware turning into control ware

I have been seeing an increase of attacks of attacks on my pc I just want to know if I am the ony one. I recenetly noticed that when I installed an couple of programs they usally install other programs with out my notification so. I just want to know if I am the first person this has happened to or am I just another victim.

No, because I don't download crapware or visit porn sites in IE (or at all )
If you don't download shit it won't screw you. And you can't say you're not downloading crapware because you obviously are if it's screwing up your computer.

i never have probs with spyware.

I run spybot s&d, ad-aware weekly, and i use a real browser that doesnt let activex run.

http://www.spywareguide.com tells you what each spyware does and what kind it is

http://www.doxdesk.com/parasite/ very good site tells you if you what parasite are in your browser and how to get rid of the spyware out of your registery

the javascript only works for ie

if you don't want to be hijacked again use a different browser not ie or any ie based browsers

Or, if you want to get totally rid of the spyware problem, just run a Unix based OS like FreeBSD .
