So I decided to reformat.

Put all my files on a brand spankin' new HDD.

Couldn't find my XP pro disk. No worries, I just downloaded another XP pro disk.

Installed XP pro, first off looked all OK but then graphics drivers won't install. Along with wireless card.

Thought ---- it, install XP home from the downstairs computer's recovery disk - i'll probably just get Vista anyway later on.

So that installed. Everything fine! Yay! But then..

Backup drive won't show up . After several excessive googling, I found out that it's because XP Home won't support dynamic drives. ----!

So I found a program to export all my files from the dynamic hard drive. But it has no progress bar.

So I figured I'd go watch some TV, brand new series of CSI:NY is on.

But freeview is screwed - nothing is watchable! The arial must have blown down or something.

And to top it off I've been ill all day .

Solution: Get a mac.
