Transfer to gkg.net

I want to transfer my domain (huskerzone.com, registered at registerfree.com last year) to gkg.net. However, I would like to do this by money order instead of credit card. gkg.net appears to accept money orders, but the only payment method on the transfer form (located at http://www.gkg.net/downloads/domain/transfers/reseller_transfer_app.pdf) appears to be by credit card.

Would gkg.net let me simply send the transfer form along with a money order to them?

Also, I have a few other questions that will probably sound extremely stupid. How do I go about getting a money order? Can I just get one at the post office and pay for the money order with cash? And then do I just send it through normal snail mail?

And also, I'm having trouble understanding this renewal thing. How much will my total be according to these policies - http://www.gkg.net/domain/transfers/ ?

My domain expires on April 3rd, so the way I'm reading it, I'll owe 9.99 for the next year + 15 dollars for the money order "handling" fee, is that right?

I don't know their method.

Yes, you can walk into a post office and request a money order by paying cash (plus a small fee for the service).

I believe I've read that they aren't charging the $15 M.O. fee, but you'd have to get that from another user or them (to be sure).

Money Order Handling Fee

Well, i didn't pay the $15 fee because i forgot to include it in the money order (lol). I thought they were gonna send it back to me but they accepted it anyways. I don't know if they will do it anymore though. They made a new form for offline registration so I don't think you can get away with the fee. But for 3 more dollars you can purchase one at http://www.000domains.com which i've heard was very good. They accept money orders and checks without a handling fee.
