Why "can't" you?

I would do this but I don't feel like re-uploading all my website ^_^.

The "upload your website" part is to ensure the domains are given to active and loyal Hosting is Free! members. If you honestly need/want to switch hosts and enter our free domain competition, PM me and I'll have one of our techs move the site for you, simple as that! :)

This is a good offer also i really need a domain and i ain't able to re-upload my website either cause i'm on dialup!!!

What is your policy on new subdomain accounts and full domains regarding the issue of hits to website??

What i am after is how long would you consider to be enough time for a site to get uploaded and setup.

And when would you delete the site, if they only received a few hits a week - which in the beginning is a startup/beginner scenario? and slowly build it up as the weeks/months progress? (so called taking up space - but legitimately trying to develop the site/user access?)

Also do you just delete websites/cpanel access without prior warning / info..

Note, I am refering to dial up people who struggle for upload/download bandwidth world wide..

Last one if you have a registered domain - are you less likely to be deleted/cpanel access removed??

Regards, Chall

Hello Chal,

Hosting is Free! doesn't have minimum traffic requirements in order to keep your account. Accounts are not deleted without prior warning unless a severe violation of normal web hosting terms and conditions occurs (i.e. warez, porn, etc.).

In other words, apply for an account and take your time to upload your website. We do delete abandoned accounts (accounts which haven't been used since they were created) but only after a long period of time (i.e. a month). In exceptional situations, exceptions can be made but you'd have to PM me regarding that.

Hope this answers your questions. :)

You need NOT post when the site is down because it gives people the general impression that the service is OFTEN down which is far from the truth.

Anyway, the problem has been taken care of and the downtime has been minimal.

your not giving them away, you just holding contests for them if you were giving them away, anyone could sign up for one.

Well, I just signed up and now just began wondering, what do I do if I need more than 50 MB of space? Or what if I need more bandwidth? Is there anyway of getting more of the things you provide, MYSQL, space bandwidth, etc. Or are we stuck with what we've been given?

Well, I signed up, hope you accept me.

Active websites requiring more disk space and bandwidth will be upgraded without a doubt.

Good luck!
