Hi all,
Wondering if anyone is able to host a small design website, would request the following features:
With the "no ads" part, may seem like a large request, however I will freely promote any reliable host that can provide good service via means of linkback (E.g. "We are proudly hosted by Such and Such, here is a link to our current uptime").
I'm happy to register and participate in any active communities, however I probably will not have the time to guarantee x amount of posts per week etc.
If I find a host that I can develop a nice working relationship with, who offers hosting services I can genuinely offer future customers as being a great place to go (in terms of good support, reliability, competitive prices etc), that will be my plan - to recommend my customers also use your hosting services for their websites.
I must stress that I will be 100% honest & realistic with customers about a service's reliability. E.g., if my site comes down for a few hours due to server issues, I'm not going to brand you a bad host. However if the downtime is repeated and common, I will not be recommending. I'm not going to dismiss any host who has issues from time to time - these things happen - but I'm also not going to risk customer's happiness by recommending an unstable host.
I had hoped this may be a good opportunity for a small host, and that we could help each other out! If nobody thinks so, I will look to paid hosting, I just thought I would put some feelers out and see if anyone would like to develop a tentative partnership!
Thanks all for your time .
