What Edition of Windows do you run?

I have two hard drives on my computer. I run ubuntu and Windows XP Home Edition.

Windows XP Pro or Windows 2003 Server Edition.

Server Edition uses less processes.

You can't run Windows XP off of hardware, only Windows Vienna can do that without being installed on the HDD. Unless that's not what you meant. Another instance of hardware OSes is Linux and Microsoft Dashboard. The latter (Dashboard) can only be run on the XBOX360.

That's not what he meant.. (I think), he meant that he runs xp, and he has an amd chip.. pretty obvious really.

I really like xp

but acording to over like 20 people I spoke to w2k3 is stable and good etc.
I am 99% it is only a server OS but that dont stop it being able to be used as a home OS
I know a few that have used server edtions at home and been happy with them.

Replying to an old comment here, sue me. Vista was built off Server 2K3.
