I have tried all & all are gud ...phpbb,ipb1.3 & smf BUT i suggest if you don't wana buy license go for IPB2.0(trial) It was a special version with no limitation & 100% legal! (& u can convert other forums to ipb2.0 very easily!)

IPB 2.0 Unlimited Trial is not available anymore, and if you downloaded it from a place other than the invisionboard website then you are breaking the copyright. It is illegal to distribute it.

I really like mercuryboard http://www.mercuryboard.com It's fast, easy to install, not bloated at all and there are some really nice skins for it.

YaBB 1.0 beta. That was the shit. Since the user 'nobody' had access to lots of stuff, people used to use that to go surfing around the user's account. It was mind boggling how easily that would have been fixed and yet was overlooked. :biggrin2:
