Cgi-bin

I'm new to this CGI-BIN, I was wondering where I would be able to find my CGI-BIN, or do I just make a folder named CGI-BIN? My host is The Zack Network.

if their is not a cgi-bin already set up and your host says they offer it you must create it.

you might have to chmod it 755 as well. some need it, some don't.

cig works in all directories.

You dont have to put perl scripts in a cgi-bin on Zacknetwork. They can go anywhere.

No, but it's just easier to have the CGI-BIN, easier to organize...unless you only have one script, than I'd say who cares? :devious2:

why use Perl when they have PHP and MySql?

How is it easier to organize? You can just use random directories and name them whatever the hell you want to.
