I am trying to figure out something.

I use Googlevoice for my recycling business. I would use my cell, but I get calls like crazy, and texts as well. So I went with GoogleVoice.

That way, they leave me a voice message, and I can reply to that, and texts when it is convenient for me.

My question is though, I tied the number to a facebook page. Well, it went to send me a code via text, but it won't come through. I just sent a text from my cell to the GV # and it came through.

Is there a reason why Facebook won't come through?

It looks there is some problem with your account configuration. You should try to review it. I hope it will work for you.

i never used Google Voice before but since I have seen your post, will check it out in a while

yes they can send you the text as well if you want and select the text in stead of the voice

it is good if you have to call long distance. or out of country

I've tried to verify a google voice number on facebook, doesn't work because of the carrier
