20GB WD harddrive, and I just bought a 160GB Maxtor today for it. Ive been running a 4.2GB Maxtor as the primary drive for a while now

I had to buy a laptop for college this year. I really didnt want one. Went on Newegg, found the cheapest laptop for the specs I needed, and here it is. Its an Acer. Not too bad.

Also have an old 333 K-6 with 32mb ram and a 4GB harddrive I want to setup as a linux box.

yes the p4 will hit 4ghz soon, but amd won't, simply a 4000 rating..

and 5ghz has been done with a 2.4c - nitrogen cooling, hdd gave way and only worked for 10 mins.. read about it on /. somewhere...

AMD won't go 4Ghz because their focus is on 64bit, something Intel is behind on.

Let me rephrase, AMD will go to 4Ghz, but currently their focus is on the 64bit chip.
