msn virus

:S help!
ok a guy i knew sent me a virus last week sometime, and everytime i logged into MSN it would automatically send everybody on my list viruses. now i have removed all the files ( i believe - and ive uninstalled and reinstalled msn again) but now suddenly those files have come back and i delete them but a few minutes later they return.
My nortons anti-virus and adawar personal both cant rid of it... what can?
please help.

Better antivirus? Try and find out what it's called, then google for a solution.

I swear by AVG, it's free, comprehensive and isn't a resource hog like Norton, Norton gets my vote as the worst commercial anti-virus program.
