Now, I can definately remember hearing that this Google browser was on the way. In fact... aren't we meant to have it by now? Apparently not, according to Google's top executive, who has denied that the company is working on such a browser. Similarly, Mozilla President Mitchell Baker denied rumours this week denied rumours that Mozilla is working on a Google browser, or letting Google use its Firefox or its Gecko rendering engine for such a project. So, it looks like there is No Google browser . Shame...

what's wrong with firefox? why would google want to take over that?

google wants to sort out the world's information; browser has nothing to do with that. they arent here to monopolize products. and besides, their projects are usually innovative. aside from emails, however, it does have innovative ideas, all their projects are pretty unique.

I wonder if that's really true... Well, I guess we'll see sooner or later.

BTW: I just saw http://www.google.com/firefox. It seems google and mozilla like eachother

Yeah, I noticed the new Firefox 1.0 default start page is a Google page. The only thing good about Firefox 1.0 IMO, but that's another thread.
