I'm looking for a program that can create and edit PHP files. I want to have a go at creating my own PHP forum.

Ha ha, very funny, but I mean a serious program, because I know absolutely nothing about HTML or PHP. I use MS Publisher to make my site and then it converts it to HTML for you.

Well truthfully, the best thing to do php and html is notpad. You ain't going to find a WYSIWUG editor for PHP, you may find editors that will help you at http://www.hotscripts.com

I'd highly recommend TextPad.

You're not going to find any programs that generate PHP for you. Rather than being a layout language, like HTML, PHP is a programming language. You need to type in all the commands to add the logic.
