I reackon you should use Basic Sans Heavy SF, for the pagemaker text.
The right hand side looks kinda weird tho, the blur or filter youve used doesnt quite look right.

yea i know, i am teaching myself how to use photoshop, and was just trying to make something look nice up there. but i think i overdid it

Perhaps the logo should occupy the same width as the content.

it would be much better if it was in flash and when you hover over it, it changes colors...
