Don't blame the mods. I can see all the deleted posts. So many people were spamming in that thread and it was just getting out of hand. Blame it on members who kept spamming even after they knew that their post was deleted for spamming.

I thought I was the only one that felt like the forums were "quiet". I remember it used to be alive with real content. Peo mentioned that the stats show more activity than a year ago but all I see is more pointless threads. We should all think about the type of topics we start and also stay on topic in each thread. I don't think that a warning is a big deal. I got one and it just reminded me of what I shouldn't be doing that's all. Let's get on the positive side and bring FWS back to life again.
god, with all this whining about the longest thread, I say we just let it die. It hasn't been any good since Dusty left anyway.
Dusty was one of the best storytellers FWS ever had. He owned that thread in it's early days, just based on the things he wrote in there. And basically in any other thread. Look him up.

Members come, and members go on all forums. Sure you lose some good ones with the bad ones some time but you have to keep going on ... what else can you do? Looking back does no good because most times things that are broke can not be fixed in this life.

I think one of the problems is that I think the mods might be a little too relaxed on banning people. I see a lot of people here that have been banned over at WHT but not here. Over there they cause problems and contribute nothing and I think there are alot of non useful contributing people that spill over from there.

There are also a lot of people at WHT that have been banned here. Some get banned no matter which forum they go to. Some that have been banned at WHT may be model members here and vice versa. If they break rules at any forum, they will eventually be banned, but we can't ban a member because he/she was banned from another forum :classic2:
