I've personally been in the hosting business for over 3 years as well, but I think he means the actual company being in business for over 2 years. :) I don't see the foundign date on the site, but the domain was created on January 22nd of this year. Just so you know, but obviously domain whois isn't the most accurate form.

Hey danethical the noc uptime is 99.9% and personally I have never experienced any downtime from their end when I have been with them. I can pass on to you some of our clients msn's with their permission of course. Would you like this? We have a few reviews here and a few on webhostingtalk.com just go and search webhostingmasters

I have a few questions for you:
- Is the vlan a requirement or is that just what you are used to?
- Location: US East Coast OK? It is the best connected DC I know, premium bandwidth... 100% Network Uptime Guarantee
- How fast do you need the server to be? Dual Xeon is kinda unspecific. Are Opterons OK as well?
- Managed or unmanaged?

If you prepay for a year (Western Union...) you look at $1800-$3000, depending on server specs.

5-StarHosting.com consisted of the same staff members and owners aswebhostingmasters.com does now.
WebHostingmasters.com was a rebrand due to the large number of hosts who use "star" or "5-star" in their name, we did not like the fact that our company name sounded like hundreds of others.
