Yes, I tried what you guys suggested last time I was infected with Adware (which, last time, was popups). This time being a search thingo. AdAware and Spybot Search and Destroy had no sucess. 'Autoruns' too. Try again? X.x

I followed the page's instructions and nothing's happened...if anything its gotten (coincidentally, I know) worse (adding things to Favourites, changing my homepage..)

http://www.mvps.org/sramesh2k/toolbarcop.htm might be of help. I'm not sure it actually uninstalls the BHO, but at least you won't see it any more.

If you don't use/want any third party toolbars (this includes Googlebar, any messenger add in, etc), close all IE windows except one, go to Tools/Options, uncheck "Enable third-party browser extensions", close IE and open it up again.
