got vista today, and wife said install finished, so, cant wait to go home and start messing with it.

anyone test NIS 2007 yet?
Ok, I'll admit that Vista is way better than XP. But it has the features that Mac OS X has had for years and Macs don't need such beefed up systems to run it either. Tiger can be run on a G3 from 2000.
Vista just seems hacky. It's as though Microsoft saw that people liked effects in their OS so they figured if they put so many in, it'd be awesome.
Other than a new look and a few convenient, but not necessary, features, there really isn't any need to upgrade from XP.
