Eww, there icky.

On 404 Pages They forward Asian/Middle East to Porn Sites apprently. And Unlimited Bandwidth doesn't exist. They allow Hotlinking though.
 
That's still pathetic. The fact that they do not allow Asian visitors is bad enough already. I recommend anyone hosting with them to look elsewhere for hosting. They are pathetic, and is one of the few hosts with the distinction of being in the Hall of Shame. Take a look:

They (Web1000) seems to be good, and even I from an Asia country, I still can visit this website. Why?

I only have good things to say about web1000.com

So far never any downtime, and i use a lot of bandwidth with no complaint from the host.

No ads is nice too.

Try visiting a website on this host, and you'll be redirected to one of their advertising programs.

Despite the fact that it is painfully slow, it might be a good host if you don't want any people from Asia on your site. I think I will set up a "hall of shame" for message boards and websites, and any website hosted on Web1000 will automatically go on the list. :D

Anyway, China has already blocked one of their advertising redirection for Asians.

Tried http://janemarch.web1000.com (dig it from Google), and it loads fine. Not redirected in any way whatsoever. BTW, I lives in Malaysia, somewhere in Asia.

It;s not slow for me, both of site above and also the Web1000 page, but maybe it's because I'm on DSL.

It's a good host. No downtime. Fast, reliable. My only issue is they allow porn. I did another search in google. i just typed in web1000 You won't believe how many porn sites are listed there. To me it's an ethical issue ;).
