For the hell of it I decided to do a poll on this to see peoples opinions. Please tell me why you voted for the one you voted for.

I voted for hotmail, I use 'em altho I hate everything they stand for and microsoft sux.

Sadly the way microsoft have everything set up it's the simplest to intergrate into windows. I wish I was back on my mac =(

I'm happy with hotmail. I like how it integrates well with Outlook Express 5/6, which saves me time from logging in and dealing with their webpage layout. I just wish that they allowed bigger attachments and more space...

I've also heard good stuff about http://www.fastmail.fm though.. Have yet to try it..

I hate all the free ones. I use the one I got with my domain name. Its very fast and I don't think they have any limits.

i choose other, why?

because if you use the pop3 and smtp that comes with your host, or comes with your website domain, thats best

I personally have found hotmail to suck rotten eggs while sipping on a sour milk smoothie.

I have used mailandnews.com but found them not so reliable.

However, the best service, IMHO is yahoo. Fast, no delays, no annoying pop-ups (well not with yahoo.com.au anyway).

This is a pretty good place to do some research:

I use branded email services, but I still foward all my mail to my hotmail account. I think it is the best. :)

when microsft bought hotmail they were using FreeBSD.... they switched to windows and it kept on crashing :D :p

I use the one provided by my ISP primarily. But for web site stuff and feedback I use hotmail. That way I keep my private email spamfree :classic2:

MyRealBox, since it's 10 MB without ads and has both a nice webmail system and also POP support. Also it's stable and likely to be around as long as Novell is.

Mail

Other: From my ISP is best.
I agree that postmark.net is great - when it works - which is most of the time. Maybe not the best to use for important mail though. There have been 3-4 times (maybe more) over the past couple years that postmark has gone down for a week or more. There seems to be no customer support at all. I lost important mail that way, so I gave up on it.

paid hosting email ... or free hosting with domain hosting email... 20mb... ad free... POP..

Hotmail's the best as they've the largest network and virtually all of my friends are using them. However, the mailbox limit they offer isn't attractive.
