How I am going to make 1 million dollars (USD)

Card counting is simple, it doesn't help you to predict cards just helps you know when the odds are greater you will win. I can already do it some what but I am not proficient, between that and the doubling my bet, I will surely be a millionare

You could just paypal me the $200 and save yourself the trouble.

Nah, I actually haven't a clue what I'm talking about. But you can still paypal me $200.

Don't most casinos use more than one deck in Blackjack to protect against card counting?

typically they use 2-7 decks, it doesn't make a difference though you can still card count with multiple decks. the only place you get screwed is if they shuffle so often, card counting just helps you know when to make a higher bet

my friends are 19 and went on some online casino, and they did that 7 friends 1 stranger trick. it worked for a while, but somehow it ended... i forget how they got sprung, but they got banned from it... hmmm

Archbob, like I sad in this thread at least twice already, the minimum at the casino is $10, and the max is $3,000 that is a huge range

Maybe they realized the same 7 people were playing together everytime

not really a huge range.. you have 9 tries and if you lose 9 times in a row (which is likely at a place like a CASINO), then bye bye $5110.

the chances of winning in blackjack are a lil below 50%, so it's sort of rare to lose that many times in a row, i guess..

Well...I went to the Casino last night after coming back from a 1000 mile road trip.

I had $40 and went to a $3 minimum table with a $300 max. Which was stupid cause when I cashed in they gave me all $5 chips so I should have just played the $5 table.

Well like I said above I just got back from a road trip and I practiced card counting a lot of the time. I am not proficient at it yet to keep a solid number but I was able to get an idea of when to expect more high cards, which is when you have an advantage over your house.

I was also able to know when it wasn't safe to double your bet.

I walked away from the casino with $60, and I only played for about 10 minutes. I know I could have just as easily lost this money, but I had a good idea of what was going on and I knew when to double my bet (which I did twice but only when I was ahead that much) and when not to, and it worked.

Something that was funny about it though, which really reminds me how well card counting works, when the count was low (which is bad) I still managed to get two soft black jacks, but both times the dealer got soft black jacks as well. I also got two face cards and the dealer just so happened to get a black jack, yet I still ended up ahead

I took a few friends to the casino once.
Not beeing 18 I didnt play, but they did.

One lost 10$
One lost 60$
and the last one lost 200$

They asked me to never take them to the casino again :p

Isn't the casino in Montreal one of the worst place on earth to gamble? It's so unfair in favor of the dealer/slot machines/other crap.
