I dont allow users to upload scripts because im afraid it will be abused

If you want me to install a script to your site you can email me at admin@hostultra.com with your username/password and attach the script

Why block the ip ranges from china? because of warez?

Im going to (hopefully) make enough money from ads to keep the server up but even if i dont make anything i can still afford the costs of the server

No i dont support ftp (yet) but i will as soon as i get other things sorted out like the forums hosting
 
Come on guys don't start to press HostUltra. ... It's clear to me that he doesn't offer nothing else than what he said : space & data transfer.
 
The server techs are looking into the problem
It wont let any data be written to the hd (read only error)
They should reboot it soon and hopefully fix the problem

Thats a very dangerous statment to make. Being hosted on RS means no warez sites. They will allow porn if you want to host it.

Ok the server rebooted and all is working now :)
The TOS on my site says everything that is legal is allowed so i think im covered for that
If i see any warez sites ill just delete them

What type of ads do u have in mind of putting?
Banners or Pop-ups? Just curious really
 
I dont know
Popups would be easier to manage because banners wouldnt suit frames but a popup would only open once if the window name is the same regardless of frames
but i know people hate popups so i will try very hard to avoid them or make it optional
Right now there is no ads at all
