please stop spamming this board.

Hey Keith,

What do you mean spamming this board? He is giving others here the option to sign up for a new host. It is up to the user to sign up or not. Look at what he offers, no banners. Sure, it may not last long or it may last more than a year, but who knows. Whoever sign up has to take a chance (I am talking about the free service). Frankly, I think it is good to know about his hosting plan. Keith, if you don't like it, you can chose not to be hosted at his site. I be a lot of people are glad that there is a new FREE bannerless host for people to try. It could be just like nalhaz.com but it is a chance that people have to take.

not to be offensive but why are u so happy, or excited? u seem to be overexcited with those exclamation marks. how old r u?

if you consider finding a host for your site "taking a chance", then your site has no business being on the web.

i told him to please stop spamming because he'd posted another thread about his site [which got deleted by the way]. it was my understanding you get one message to advertise your service.

he posted twice. two is two, no matter how you look at it.

Hey YUPAPA, I wish jou good luck, but I think , that with that attitude, je won't survive for long.

I give you 1 month

YUPAPA

I wish everyone likes my services!
I don't understand what you said RedHat!

You mean you won't survive any longer????

I don't think so REDHAT, just backup your files everytime you update in case I shut down the site.

YUPAPA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

god, what an idiot.

i'd like to humbly request that peo, or any mod for that fact, would remove this thread. it's just one big joke.

Keith,

You say that my site should not be in the web then the same analogy would be that you should not be living on this earth because there is also a chance that you could be killed by a MVA, natural disaster, or some unforseen nature.
Your comment is so ludicrous. When you have your site hosted, are you ever 100% sure that it will not go out of business. Look at the giant NBCi. When you go for a host, you have to take into many considerations and hope that those criterias will make it a good and long lasting host. It is due diligence sometimes on your part to pick a good host, especially if you host a business site. What he is offering is FREE service and you have a choice to look at it over very carefully before you upload your files. A paid service is another matter and I am not going into that right now.

I did not know that he has posted his host at another thread. That is why I did not consider him spamming if this is his first post.

The lowdown is that, unless they are backed up and funded by a much larger investor, these "bannerless" web hosts run by minors never last more than a few weeks, months at best, before they run out of funding or interest and close down, taking their members with them.

I've watched it happen on this board, several times already. (Anyone remember Host50? GCites?) Even bannered hosts like NBCi are having trouble making a buck in these tough times, so if a free host seems too good to be true, bannerless and all, it probably is. (Hmmm. I'm starting to sound like Ron.)

Yupapa, I wish you all the best, but if you don't have a decent business plan, a reliable source of funding, and a solid reputation for service and quality, you will most likely close down in a few months. Better get some good financial advice if you want to last the year.

OK... BUT I STILL WON"T PUT BANNERS. I really want my customers can find a host without banners and happy with my services

ok, here we go...

read it again phil, i said: if you consider finding a host for your site "taking a chance", then your site has no business being on the web.

get the picture that time? i never said your site has no business being on the web simply because it's your site. so me having no business living on this earth because i might get killed by an mva, natural disaster, or whatever is not the same thing [where the heck did you pull that example from, anyhow??].

i'm guessing by your comments you've taken this crackhead up on his free hosting offer, and i must say i wish you the best of luck.

now paid hosting... paid hosting can't be beaten with a stick. and you can get it reliably at $3/month or slightly more. and a domain for $9/yr and under. don't tell me you can't afford that, if you're truly that serious about having your website online while defending it with these silly analogies of yours and all [well, elementary students can't afford it, i'll give them that much. but then again they're most likely not that serious about having a website online, so it kinda cancels itself out]

Ah...this is interesting...I like a little debate.

First of all, do you think that I am only an elementary student? That is a wrong answer if that is what you think. In fact, I am a physician. But I am on vacation so I just like to browse the net to learn a little more about the computer world. I have been taken care of sick patients so I am just here relaxing on my vacation break, as opposed to being on call.
Your earlier statement can easily be construed as my site not worthy of being on the internet because I have taken a chance on a specific host. I can easily buy a hosting plan, which I already have done and I know everything about those cheap domain registration sites. I am just here testing some of the hosts so that I can refer them to people who would like to have a FREE webhost like my little niece or nephew. They like to design websites also.

By the way Keith, while I am saving lives and gaining vast knowledge in computers, what have you done for the past few years?
