I really wish these little rich kids would give there money to people like me that would like to start a respectable free host. No offence yupapa, but they way you have been talking in this board has turned me off of using your service at all.
 
I am 16, and I know what estatic means.... close Yupapa (A Deficit Producer), and start a Business. I am starting a Business with my father on Ecuadorean Handicrafts, which is bounds to bring in thousands of dollars.

Anywya. Sorry. I don't think you'll surivive. Maybe you will if your paid hosting goes well. but like someone said, it didnt work for er... some other host.

You might wanna limit bandwidth on the free acounts. 1-3 gig something maybe.

Your earlier statement can easily be construed as my site not worthy of being on the internet because I have taken a chance on a specific host. I can easily buy a hosting plan, which I already have done and I know everything about those cheap domain registration sites. I am just here testing some of the hosts so that I can refer them to people who would like to have a FREE webhost like my little niece or nephew. They like to design websites also.

By the way Keith, while I am saving lives and gaining vast knowledge in computers, what have you done for the past few years?

Of course it is getting pathetic Keith. I usually discuss cases with my fellow physicians but today I have to lower myself to your educational level. It is truly pathetic :(
But since I am on vacation, I think I can relax my brain a bit.
I am not fixated on his webhost. Like I said before, I have my own paid web host and I am just doing this for my little niece and nephew.

By the way, I don't think that if you are not a physician than you are not smart or anything like that. Everyone has or his or her potential and knowledge. Even a local janitor knows things that a physician does not know. Being a physician is sometimes over-rated. I know because I am in that field.

ok, i'm done with you. physician my ass. hey, you know what? i'm a rocket scientist. yeah, that's right. i was talking today with my rocket science buddies about the most efficient fuel/air mixture for the next moonshot when one of them asked if i knew of any good free webspace providers out there that don't force unsightly ads... true story.

Personally, I think paid hosting these days is so cheap (especially for personal sites where not much bandwidth or features are needed) that even a 10 year old could afford to pay for some hosting.

Yes! Freewebhosting is dying... because we dont need it anymore!!! :D

Well, I think free web hosting is for kids under 18 since they don't have credit card to purchase a paid hosting...
 
gcsnet was dead on arrival. there's no way that host was ever gonna last with all those features for free, yet there were a lot of people who seemed so surprised or disappointed when it shut down. that was the funny part.

I had paid hosting when I was under 18! My mum let me use her CC! :)

I thought that gscnet might have lasted maybe a little bit longer than it did... glad I didn't even consider it :)

I think you are right about being better than me, in terms of computers :)

I also agree with you that it is a lot cheaper and better to go with a paid hosting if you can afford it. For example, it is only $36/year at wzpro.com which is a nice price for some who cannot go for higher plans. Too bad it is in the stage of moving server so sign ups have been temporarily suspended.
