I wont say if he'll last long or not, that isn't my place to say, is it?
I think it's nice he's trying to come up with a good service that offers all that a customer really wants...
I'm sure this is his first time anyway..., so he will most likly make mistakes (that he'll learn from)... But I think it's rather cruel to flame him for somthing that is simply trying to please people... And besides, if you don't trust what he offers, then you sure have the option to go to Geocities, huh?
Not to be rude myself, I just feel sorry for him... It always hurts when you get flamed.

Yupapa!! I think what these people are saying is that nobody wants a free host with no ads, because they die out, and a lot of people here have been burnt by them dying, or putting ads on their site, being slow, getting sites deleted ect.
Sooo why don't you just put ads on the sites? Or maybe promise more stability to sites that have ads? Or maybe just throw every dollars you've put into this into a lake because it will go under soon.
I would love to have my site hosted with yupapa IF there was someway of knowing that it will not dissappear at any moment. A site with no obvious way of revenue giving away something that costs a lot of money is fishy.
So either let us in on how you plan on paying for all of this, put some damn ads on your site, or shut the hell up about your 'customers' not wanting ads.
By the way, great market research there, people don't like ads. Wow. But people do like stable and reliable web hosting, so why not make sure they get what they want, then worry about taking away something they don't want.
